Yes, KreatedbyKarina has fallen and she can't get up! But if Kmart sends her a gift card it will make her feel better! She wants it so badly that she has called customer service four times to see if and when they are going to send it. Check out the screen shot on the Karina In Her Own Words blog spot:

Times must be hard since she can't scam the Etsy forum or the Creative Breakroom forum for money anymore:

And not only did she fall, but it appears that her daughter fell with her also. I wonder how that happened? Must have been a heck of a water spill. Two people falling at once doesn't happen very often. Was she carrying her daughter? Was she holding her hand? Bad enough a Mom has to bust her ass but does she have to drag her kid down with her too?
Of course this all happened a few months ago. Maybe Karina has managed to pick her and her kid up off the floor by now. Maybe she got her Kmart gift card and is now walking around town sporting a new Jaclyn Smith wardrobe with her kid who is all decked out in new Carters. Hell, if they could just stay little until their Carters are worn out then all of this other convoluted money making bullshit wouldn't even be necessary. But they don't-they grow-and always need bigger clothes. And therefore any extra dolla' will always make Karina holla'.
It wouldn't surprise me if she was actually crawling around on the Kmart floor looking for dropped changed and sprained her back and just decided to stay there until a Kmart associate noticed her and came to her aid. It wouldn't surprise me if she cold-cocked the Salvation Army bell ringer at the Kmart entrance and dragged his ass around the side of the building and dumped him while grabbing his bell and apron so she could make a little cash real fast.
Anywho, I sure hope she got her gift card and didn't have to sue. If she had to sue I sure hope Kmart googled first. Or maybe whoever reads her facebook page and sends this stuff to the Karina In Her Own Words blog spot might shoot the shit over to Kmart for their reading pleasure too (that "social/media networking" stuff she mentioned on that screenshot can swing both ways and when you have scammed as many people as she has you tend to piss them off and they want to testify for the prosecution and shit). Or maybe her facebook readers sent her a bunch of donations like they used to do on Etsy and the Creative Breakroom forum and she had herself a very merry little Christmas. One never knows.
Karina's ass might not be broken from her fall but it sure as shit has a crack in it. Speaking of ass crack-it's a good thing she makes and sells soap because I suspect anyone who has any contact with her for even a short length of time comes away feeling slimy and dirty. I know I want to dump hand sanitizer in my eyeballs whenever I have the misfortune to read any of her "oh woe is me" bullshit.

Since stores are scammed in as many ways as anyone could ever think of, you'd be surprised how quickly they check out those who would scam them..or even have a legitimate beef.
Years ago, my Mother slipped in some spilled liquid laundry soap at Costco, and as she is older (70's at the time) you can imagine that she was quite bumped and bruised..
She ended up suing them, but of course, since she was retired, she didn't get much, just covered her medical expenses plus about 500 for pain and suffering (I think...)
I'm guessing that gift cards are a much more painless way for businesses to get people mollified for whatever did or didn't happen to them, and cheaper than lawyers, right?
I know that here in Canada, many things are settled quickly for small amounts, even if the company knows it's a scam, just to avoid a lawsuit, because win or lose, businesses have to spend a fortune in legal fees, and the publicity can be a bitch....
Think about it..whenever you read about let's say a mouse in someone's Big Mac, you either think scam or that dirty filthy business...either way, there is little or no sympathy for that business...your pal Karina is probably totally aware of that fact..
Odd how much work goes into all this...too bad she can't channel her energy in a more positive direction but I'm guessing that the career path she has chosen, chose her....
I have found you meet basically two types of people on handmade sites-decent people who only want to make and sell stuff and assholes who want to prey on the decent people and use the site and the people on it for their own benefit.
From starving kids in India, to flashing your body to all the naive females in the hopes they will pay your bills, to killing off your entire family including all your pets if that is what it takes-I have never seen so much devious bullshit anywhere in all my life.
I have also never seen so many people willing to look over someone doing this bullshit with the proof right in front of their eyes. Those people deserve what they get IMHO.
PD
Unfortunately, 'proof' is in the eye of the beholder..I feel kinda sorry for people who fall for this; most people on craft sites are not sophisticated, world-weary types, but believe that they are doing something good for those who prey on this naivete..
And it's exactly that which is so enraging.

I'm trying to work out what damages she is talking about? She said they slipped and fell but no mention of injury. No lawyer would touch that. If they were injured she wouldn't need to use their facebook page, that's for sure. I start to feel sorry for her at this point but then I have to remind myself of how many people she conned out of money. Sickening.
I don't feel sorry for her lying, scamming ass. That is how people like this get by with this crap-by making people feel sorry for them.
