Explore Mount Everest Up Close

View Mount Everest using this megapixel interactive image. It was created by a filmmaker named David Breashears and a non-profit organization called GlacierWorks. It is actually 477 pictures all put together and you can click around on it and see things really up close. There is also a link to GlacierWorks in the article so you can see glaciers and stuff. I saw it on a news channel and thought it was pretty interesting.

P.S. It takes flash to use it. You kinda have to play around with it to figure out what you are doing but once you figure it out it's worth it IMHO.

Have fun!

Now that was awesome, in the literal sense...
Was it just me , or did you notice that Yeti giving us the finger in the right-hand corner?

Hahaha! To be honest mizdarlin I haven't had the time to search it in depth yet. I'm glad you had fun with it tho.
